If you are familiar more or less with how prepaid carriers work, you know that they come with a number of advantages. First of all, prepaid carriers do not require lengthy contracts, so basically you are free to switch to a different service provider at any time. Moreover, they usually offer attractive plans that include talk, text and data at low cost. There is one downside, though. The assortment of phones is in most cases poor. Most but not all and one of the exceptions is Aio Wireless.
Nokia Lumia 620 for Aio Wireless
Aio Wireless is AT&T’s subsidiary and uses the mother carrier’s network for its service. Originally, Aio was available only to customers in Houston, Orlando, and Jacksonville. However, this Tuesday the network started running its service from coast to coast. Aio Wireless is the first carrier in the US to add the lower-end Nokia Lumia 620 to its roaster. The phone is priced at a low $99.99. The deal is simply great, especially when you keep in mind that unlocked Lumia 620 currently sells for $179.
The Nokia Lumia 620 sports a 3.8-inch ClearBlack display with a 480 x 800 resolution, which translates to a pixel density of 246 ppi. The phone is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus with Adreno 305 taking care of graphics. The device offers 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable up to 64 GB via microSD slot. The handset is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The Nokia Lumia 620 runs Windows Phone 8 and is available in four colors including cyan, purple, yellow and lime.
