Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone 8 for Metro PCS is now available at carrier’s online store

Nokia Lumia 521 Metro PCSIt is official, Metro PCS’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 521, has arrived to the carrier at a reasonable price of $99.99 with no contract. Premiering it as the most inexpensive entry level Windows 8 Phone available on the market as it is available $50 cheaper than the $149 price of T-Mobile’s version of the same model. It is also the price that Nokia put the phone up on sale resulting in contagious buying and selling out the device at Wal-Mart and T-Mobile numerous times.

Metro Lumia 521The Nokia Lumia 521 for Metro PCS comes equipped with a dual-core 1GHz processor boosted with 512MB RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory card slot via microSD up to 64GB. The device is powered by 1,430 mAh battery. The handset sports 4-inch IPS display with 800 x 480 pixels, a super-sensitive 4-inch touch screen, and a 5 megapixel camera which is capable of recording high definition video in 720p.

In addition to above specifications the Lumia 521 has a lot to offer including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5 mm audio connector, built-in digital lenses, standard and popular Cinemagraph and Smart Shoot, as well as Panorama. What goes hand in hand with photos is music. The device has Nokia Mix Radio, which allows you to choose from over one-hundred and fifty mixes and generate customized playlists, as well as sharing capability to social media sites or SMS and email. Different from other radio apps, Nokia Mix Radio allows you to take your music offline and listen to your favorite songs when you are not connected to a network.
