Windows phones are in at the moment. AT&T brings their first Windows smartphone to subscribers of the prepaid GoPhone. Priced at $99.99 AT&T will join the wave of premiering their extensions of the Nokia Lumia 520, which is a top seller for Nokia (raking in 80 percent of WP handset sales in a few countries). This new phone, and AT&T’s new Mobile Share plan will be available right at the end of the month, on July 26th. Perfect way to close out the month on AT&T’s behalf, and perfect timing for customers expecting their Friday, and beginning of the month paychecks.
Nokia Lumia 520 with new Mobile Share Plans
The new tiers to Mobile Share service offering include 300MB data plan for a $20 a month and a second one is $50 a month for 2GB data plan. As opposed to the previous lower end deals at $40 per month 1GB plan, $70 a month with a 4GB plan for anything over 1GB—these new options are quite appealing. The sense of the newer options relate to the purpose of Mobile Share Plans.
Mobile Share Plans were introduced a year ago providing a variety of features depending on plan type that include: unlimited voice and text messaging, sharing data with family members on the same plan, as well as tablets, Mi-Fis, and cameras. With all of these wonderful things to share, customers need the space to take full advantage of the feature. It’s a win-win in terms of pricing as well. The new 300MB data tier goes for $50 a month to connect a smartphone, totaling to $70 a month considering the original $20 for the plan. As for the 1GB plan or 2GB plans, an additional $45 dollars is requested to connect to a smartphone. Yet smartphone prices decline, as data amount inclines to a very satisfying peak.
