Just last week we mentioned that Nokia’s first tablet, the Lumia 2520 would be arriving at AT&T on November 22nd. Did you just look at the calendar? Yes, today is the fist day of the slate’s availability on AT&T. The tablet is priced at $399.99 and that is after you sign a new two-year contract. The price is rather high-ish, however, the carrier has prepared a nice surprise for you. If you are on the market for a new smartphone and decide to grab the Nokia Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, or Lumia 1520 together with the tablet, the carrier will knock $200 off its price, selling the slate for $199.99 on contract.
Nokia Lumia 2520 Windows Tablet for AT&T
If you don’t feel like getting into a relationship with AT&T for the next two years, you can buy the Nokia Lumia 2520 outright for $499.99. The tablet can also be purchased with AT&T Installment Plan, in which case it will cost you $25 per month over the period of 20 months.
The Lumia 2520 is Nokia’s first attempt at Windows tablet. Before the device became official some folks probably worried if the Finnish manufacturer could get it right. In the end it will be the customers who will evaluate the tablet, but for now it looks like Nokia nailed it.
The slate packs a 10.1-inch Full HD display made with ClearBlack technology for enhanced outdoor readability, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, and a hefty 8000 mAh battery.
Unsurprisingly, the Nokia Lumia 2520 delivers great photographic experience with its 6.7-megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss optics and f/1.9 aperture. Other features include a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, LTE connectivity, NFC, and a selection of apps such as Microsoft Office and Outlook, Nokia HERE, Nokia Music, Nokia Video Director, Storyteller and more.
