Nokia Lumia 1520It did not take long for Nokia Lumia 1520 to start making its way to the stores. The phablet was unveiled last month at Nokia World 2013 and soon will be available for purchase in the US. If you want to be among the first users to get their hands on the phone we may have good news for you. Microsoft just began accepting pre-orders on the phone. The Lumia 1520 is priced at $199.99 with a new two-year contract with AT&T and $549 unsubsidized. The device will be exclusive to AT&T, just like the latest Lumia flagship phones. The phone will start shipping on November 15th.

Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone 8 Phablet

Lumia 1520 Pre-orderThe Nokia Lumia 1520 for AT&T is the first Windows Phone 8 device to feature a 1080p display. It is also the biggest Windows Phone 8 handset to date with the screen measuring 6 inches diagonally. The display is super-sensitive yet durable thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and offers enhanced readability in sunlight. Windows Phone 8 features such as Live Tile and People Hub were optimized for the big screen.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 packs a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 16 GB of RAM. It looks like it will be the only storage option available in the US. The phone, however, has a microSD slot for memory expansion, so the lack of storage space should not be a problem. Important feature of the device is also its 20-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss lens and lossless zoom. The AT&T-bound model will not include Qi wireless charging unlike Lumia 920.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is available for purchase in several color options including black, white, yellow and red.
