As hard as it is to believe, there are still many people who neither own a smartphone nor want one. With those folks in mind, Nokia announced two affordable feature phones, the Nokia 207 and Nokia 208. Both phones will go on sale in the third quarter of 2013, probably on in Europe, at least for the time being. Both will carry a very budget-friendly price tags of just $68 or €52 if you prefer. Both, the Nokia 207 and 208, will be available in multiple color option including black, white, red and cyan.
Nokia 207 vs. Nokia 208 Phone – Overview
Both handsets are identical in terms of design and specs, the only difference between these two is lack of camera in the 207 model. The Nokia 208, on the other hand, sports a 1.3-megapixel shooter on the back. Also, it will come in single and dual SIM variant with Easy Swap feature which allows you to switch SIM cards without switching off the phone. Both devices come in “candybar” form with traditional alphanumeric keypad.
The Nokia 207 and 208 offer 2.4-inch displays with QVGA resolution and scratch-proof protection, 64 MB of RAM and 256 MB of internal storage. There is also a microSD slot which supports up to 32 GB cards. A 1020 mAh battery will provide up to 12 hours of talk time on 2G and up to a month of standby time.
Other features include micro USB, HSPA, Nokia XpressBrowser, Bluetooth, Slam sharing service, Mail for Exchange and access to Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp.
