Lumia 650 Windows 10 phone is now on sale
Looking for a cheap Windows 10 smartphone? If so, then you may consider the Cricket’s latest deal quite interesting. Right now the carrier is slashing the price of the Microsoft Lumia 650 to just $69.99. For that money you will get pretty capable phone offering Windows most recent OS and 4G LTE connectivity. However, the deal favors only new subscribers, so perhaps, at least for some of us, this may be the perfect moment to think over switching to Cricket Wireless.

Cricket significantly discounts the Lumia 650

Cricket significantly discounts the Lumia 650. All new subscribers who will port their number to the carrier may get the Windows 10-running phone for just $69.99.

Within its latest offer Cricket is now selling the black, single-SIM version of the Lumia 650 with a 36 percent discount to all those who decide to bring their number to the carrier. In practice it means that you may get the phone for only $69.99, instead of paying the Cricket’s regular price of $109.99 what in turn translates to savings worth $40. What’s more if we compare the Crickets promotional price with the one offered Microsoft Store, we will see that Cricket allows us to save 130 bucks.

If you allow yourself to get tempted by the Microsoft Lumia 650 deal and switch to Cricket, remember that you will be asked to enroll for one of the carrier’s prepaid service plans. All Cricket’s plans include unlimited talk, text and data, but they differ in terms of high-speed data allotment. For instance if you choose a $40 plan, you will get 2.5GB of 4G LTE data. If you pay $10 more, you will double the data. Meanwhile, the $60 plan includes 10GB of data allotment. But if all these is still not enough to you, you may as well opt for unlimited LTE data which will cost you $70 per month.

As for the device itself, when it comes to specs the Lumia 650 is definitely a lower mid-range offering. Sporting a 5-inch 720p display the phone is driven by a Snapdragon 212 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB of built-in luckily expandable storage. Powered by a 2,000 mAh battery the device provides its users with an 8MP primary camera and 5MP HD front-facing snapper supported by the same imaging software as the one found in the flagship Lumia 950 line.

Although the presented specs are surely far from current standards, we can’t ignore the fact that for less than $70 we will get an attractively looking metallic phone offering 4G LTE and the full Windows 10 experience including Cortana personal assistant and Find-My-Phone feature.
