The main share of gadgets is naturally coming from China. While some of them are of a questionable quality, the majority are top notch devices worth a closer look. If you add to this the access to a variety of cheaply produced parts, you get a user paradise where high-end smartphones are available at incredibly affordable prices, like the Neo’s next flagship Android smartphone, the Neo N003.
Neo N003 to come with Full HD 1080p screen
The handset was first mentioned by our sources about a month ago, but details were scarce back then. Now we know a little bit more, including the price. The 5-inch Neo N003 with a Full HD 1080p touch screen will cost just 899 yuan or around $145 (€112), which will make it the cheapest 1080p smartphone in the world. Up until now, the record for the most affordable 1080p smartphone belonged to the iOcean X7 Youth, selling at 999 yuan ($161 or €124).
The Neo N003 offers some quite impressive specs. Previously we heard that the handset will come with a 720 resolution, but now it appears that the manufacturer changed its mind and will deliver the phone with a 1920 x 1080 HD screen. The N003 will be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and will boast a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 3,000 mAh battery.
The Neo N003 will be available in two models, the other one being better equipped and more expensive, selling at 1,499 yuan, which is $242 (or €186).
