If you’re looking for a phablet similar to the Galaxy Note excluding its premium pricing, T-Mobile’s latest offering may be worth your attention. The LG Stylo 3 Plus delivers a really massive screen panel with pen-enhanced input and the latest Android experience at an affordable pricing.
LG Stylo 3 Plus for T-Mobile offers a package of decent specs and stylus-enabled input for just $225 contract-free.
Few days after T-Mobile started to update the LG Stylo 2 Plus to Android 7.0, the carrier announced the premiere of the phablet’s successor. Except for the pre-installed Nougat (sadly, still a 7.0, not a 7.1.1 version), the LG Stylo 3 Plus features a package of interesting specs.
The phone houses a large 5.7-inch display delivering 1920x1080p viewing experience. Although it is HD not Full HD resolution, viewing experience should be still sharp enough for a majority of users. A big screen requires a big battery. Therefore, the phablet is kept alive by energy generated by a 3,080 mAh cell.
Optics come represented by a combination of 13MP and 5MP rear and front cameras. Powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage with microSD expansion the handset hides a fingerprint scanner for advanced data security and fast 4G LTE connectivity.
Moving on, the biggest selling point of the device is surely a stylus that can be stowed away inside the phablet. However, even though the typical rubber tip has been replaced with a harder type of plastic, the stylus still doesn’t provide its users with the precision and pressure sensitivity of the stylus created by Samsung for the Galaxy Note series.
In other words, the LG Stylo 3 Plus is pretty much the same device as the Stylo 3 introduced earlier this year at Consumer Electronics Show. It only differs from the standard Stylo 3 in terms of display and memory capacity. In comparison to its sibling, the Plus doesn’t only sports a higher pixel density screen, but also packs doubled storage.
Last but surely not least, if you think that this LG phone may be a device you’ve been looking for, then you can grab it right now at T-Mobile. The Stylo 3 Plus is sold on the carrier’s EIP for as little as $9 per month each of the 24 months of the plan plus $9 upfront.
In addition, qualified customers can also get the phone for nothing down and $10 per month when signed up to T-Mobile’s JUMP! On Demand plan. Those who don’t like instilments may buy the handset for $225 off-contract. If, for some reason, you prefer pre-paid option then the Stylo 3 Plus will become available at T-Mobiles’ prepaid subsidiary – Metro PCS – sometime in June.
We will keep you posted.
