Motorola’s Droid Turbo User Guide
Though the Motorola and Verizon hasn’t confirmed the handset yet, the leaked user’s manual leaves no shadow of a doubt, the release of the Droid Turbo is just a matter of time What’s more interesting the device is even better than we speculated.
According to the user manual, the Droid Turbo is to sport a 5.2-inch “ultra high definition” display featuring the resolution of 1440×2560 and a 21-megapixel rear camera sensor with dual LED flash. Obviously, there will be also a front-facing shooter, but as for now its parameters haven’t been specified. Although many previous rumors mentioned the Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3GB and 32GB of built-in storage, the user manual doesn’t confirm it.
Going further, the phone is also expected to be powered by a high capacity, long lasting battery supporting Qi wireless charging. It is said to fully recharge in only three hours thanks to the Moto Turbo charger. Additionally, the handset will have a nano SIM tray and run Android 4.4 Kitkat enhanced with software elements well-known from the Moto X 2014, like Moto’s Voice, Display, Actions, Assist and Connect. There will be also a support for NFC connectivity under the new Droid Turbo’s hood.
Other interesting features include many handy tricks, like for example the opportunity to silence a call or snooze an alarms with the wave of your hand across the display. You may also leave a special message or you address for someone who finds your new Droid in case you lose it.
Unfortunately, even though we know that the Droid Turbo exist and is pretty complete, the date of its official premiere is still unknown. Initially, the Motorola’s Droid Turbo will be available exclusively at Verizon, but there’s a rumor on the street that it will join the other carrier’s offer some time later, but under a different name.
