The latest report suggests that, Motorola is planning to launch its second generation Moto X this week on America’s largest 4G LTE network. According to the internal sources, Verizon will be selling the handset priced at $99 on contract starting this Friday, September 26 . The good news for Motorola’s enthusiasts is that the white Moto X will be offered with a bamboo back without additional charges.
Verizon launches 2nd Gen Moto X this Friday

Almost three weeks ago Motorola come back with its newest update to its flagship smartphone – Moto X. The company come back to the business with fresh look and the latest technology implemented in the second-generation Moto X which will be available on Verizon network starting this Friday.
As of the pricing, Verizon will be selling the 16GB Moto X with Moto Maker at price of $99.99 with a two-year contract service but if you want to get a little bit bigger phone in terms of memory then you have an option to purchase a 32GB version that will cost you $149.99.
As an additional incentive to buy the phone, Verizon will offer the buyers to purchase the White / Bamboo version of the Moto X at the discounted rate for $99.99, which means $25 savings in your pocket. The limited time frame of the promotion is set to last until October 10th 2014, so you will have more than two weeks to buy the model at a discounted rate.
There is an option for the Verizon Edge fans as well. The Moto X on the Edge plan will cost monthly as follow: $25 for Black / Resign version, $27.49 for White / Bamboo option, $25 for 16GB Moto Maker, and $27.49 for 32GB Moto Maker. The price details are shown via leaked screenshot but keep in mind that a contract needs to be signed first.
In terms of specs, the Moto X second-generation comes equipped with 5.2-inch 1,920 x 1,080 HD display and is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The handset sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with a dual LED ring flash which should give a really high quality pictures. What makes the phone unique among the Android smartphones crowd are uncommon features like the voice and touchless actions, fully customizable Moto Maker and of course cool wooden backplates.
