Offering low-end specs the phone is now within your reach for $85 without contract, which is $65 cheaper than at Amazon.

In case you’re not familiar with the Moto G4 Play, here’s a brief presentation of its key features. Housing a 5-inch screen panel the phone runs on a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable up to 128GB storage. In the optic department, covered with water repellent nano-coating the Moto G4 Play offers an 8MP rear camera accompanied by a 5MP front-facing snapper. Furthermore, the whole thing is  kept alive by juice produced by a pretty decent 2,800 mAh battery, meanwhile  Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is an OS choice.

Summing up, as you see it isn’t particularly bad phone, especially when we take into account its pricing. Although at this price sector we cannot expect too sophisticated hardware, the Moto G4 Play is capable enough to deal with majority of communication and entertainment tasks quite good.

Verizon isn’t the only carrier that offers the phone. Considered the cheapest and smallest phone in the Lenovo’s Moto line the unlocked Moto G4 Play joined Amazon few days ago, where it is sold for $149 or for $99 to Amazon Prime customers, but this model comes with preloaded apps. Verizon beats Amazon’s offer and sells the phone for only $85. However, in order to make use of the deal, you need to sign up for one of the carrier’s prepaid plans.

Speaking of the service plans, for just $30 per month Verizon gives you unlimited text and calls to Mexico and Canada. But when choosing this offer you need to rely on Wi-Fi connectivity. In case you are an internet maniac, you can opt  for a $45 or $60, within which except for unlimited text and calls you will also get 2GB or 5GB of speedy LTE data, respectively.
