ByinPhones Without Contract | October 10, 2014

Moto GMotorola unveiled the Moto G with LTE connectivity five months ago almost to the day and the phone went on sale immediately. Actually, the Moto G LTE appeared on Amazon even before official announcement. However, users who wanted to pair the device with AT&T service had to wait their fair share of time. We are happy to announce that the wait is over and the Moto G LTE for AT&T is now available in carrier’s stores priced at $179.99 without contract.

Moto G LTE for AT&T

Moto G LTEIn case you are wondering, $179.99 is off contract price. Yep, that’s right, AT&T is selling the Moto G LTE for less than some smartphones cost on contract. If this is too much for you, you can sign a new one-year agreement with the carrier and grab the phone for $79.99, saving $100 in the process. If you can’t afford to pay even this little, the Moto G LTE is also available with AT&T Next 18 for $7.50 per month or Next 12 for $9 per month.

Just to be clear, this is the upgrade version of last year’s Moto G we are talking about not the brand new Moto G 2014. Anyway, the AT&T model is no different to the unlocked Moto G LTE meaning that you will get a 4.5-inch IPS screen with 720p resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot.

The phone also packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and array of sensors and 2070 mAh battery. What’s best about the Moto G LTE, besides its price, is that the device ships with virtually unmodified version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

The original Moto G was hailed as one of the best smartphones of the last year. The inclusion of LTE connectivity only added to the handset’s attractiveness making it a masterpiece of its class, and a very affordable one at that. The successor is already available but if you are ok with owning a previous generation model, the Moto G LTE offers quite a lot of bang for the money.
