If you are the type that loves surprises, leave the site now and don’t come back until November 13th. And now you are probably wondering what is going to happen on that day. Since you are still here, it looks like you really want to know. So here are the details. Next week on Wednesday (yes, it will be November 13th) Motorola will announce another addition to the Moto series. Called Moto G, the phone will be more modest in terms of specs and will target more budget-conscious customers.
Motorola Moto G mid-range Android phone
The date is not a rumor or speculation. It sits right there on the Moto G teaser site that went live earlier today. The site itself does not reveal much about the phone. Except for the date and a short info that the event will be transmitted online, there is an animated video that shows Motorola logo embedded in various sceneries.
These scenes could mean a whole bunch of things, such as the phone will be released globally, or it could be designed just to look pretty. Trying to figure out what Motorola wanted to say would be pointless at the moment, so let’s focus on the phone instead.
Truth to be told, the specs are not official either, however, they were kind of confirmed by a leaked promotion card. From the said card we know that the Moto G will sport a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 display, a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and 8 GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 5-megapixel rear camera with 720p video capture.
