LG X Power with long lasting battery and low price coming to Cricket Wireless prepaid network

Two months ago LG introduced a new line of devices under the X brand. Each of its members puts emphasis on one particular feature. Today, the company announced to release a X Power smartphone that is oriented to heavy media users as its really massive battery is promised to last up to 2 days on an extensive usage. Soon the phone will be available nationwide distributed by Cricket Wireless prepaid store.

Specs-wise, except for a stunning battery the LG X Power is just another budget-sector offering with nothing more but moderate tech parameters. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow the phone comes driven by the quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of expandable built-in storage. Although the handset packs only a 5.3-inch IPS screen with 720 x 1280 p of resolution, it should still be sharp enough to deliver decent viewing experience. In the field of optics, the X Power offers a combination of an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper. Meanwhile, connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

As for the Cricket’s offer the X Power is scheduled to hit the carrier’s stores on August 26th labeled with the price tag of $159.99 plus tax-naturally. The phone will be sold without contract, but its purchase obliges you to activate one of the Cricket’s smartphone plans that start at $35 per month and include unlimited text and talk. Furthermore, customers who decide to port their number to Cricket may get the X Power even cheaper, as for limited though unspecified time they will be able to buy the device for $129.99, excluding tax.
