LG is definitely not resting on laurels and keeps working hard to gain even higher position as smartphone manufacturer. Since the beginning of the year, the company has launched several devices ranging from lower-end through mid-range to truly high-end phones, in this way having all the ends of the market covered. And more are to come. LG is also trying to keep its most successful lineups alive by launching follow-ups. As a result we have recently been shown the Optimus L3 II, L5 II, and L7 II.
LG Optimus L9 II coming next month
Thanks to a leaked photo and a few benchmark details we know that the trio will be joined by the LG Optimus L9 II. Apparently the phone will pack a 4.7-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and will be powered by a dual-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 for graphics. The chip will be supported by 1 GB of RAM.
The Optimus L9 II will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with LG skin on top. The phone is expected to be officially announced in June.
