We have recently received information that two more phones are going to join LG’s L-series in not so distant future. The devices in question are the LG Optimus L4 II and LG Optimus L4 II Dual and actually they are two versions of one and the same handset. Anyways, folks from Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru claim that both phones will be released sometime in June, probably in Russia first. The LG Optimus L4 II will be priced at 5,490 RUB, which is equivalent of $173. The Dual model will be a little more expensive – it will go for 5,990 RUB, or $189.
LG Optimus L4 II vs. Optimus L4 II Dual
As you might have guessed, the LG Optimus L4 II will be a standard single SIM model, while the LG Optimus L4 II Dual will feature support for two SIM cards. The phones will also slightly differ in terms of design. The L4 II Dual sports four capacitive buttons underneath the screen. The single SIM model, however, has three buttons.
Other than that, both devices are identical. According to the source, the handsets pack a 3.8-inch IPS LCD screen with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. Under the hood you will find a single-core 1 GHz MediaTek MT6575 processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory.
There is also a microSD slot for storage expansion, a 1,700 mAh battery and a 3-megapixel camera on the back. There is no mention of a front-facing camera, neither can we see one in the photo, so probably it does not exist.
Both, the LG Optimus L4 II and LG Optimus L4 II Dual will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
