Metro PCS has just added to its portfolio another phone from LG’s F series, the Optimus F6. Next to the Optimus F3 and Optimus F9, the Optimus F6 is the third device from LG offered by the carrier. The phone is available in local stores and through Metro PCS online store. The LG Optimus F6 costs $199 and does not require signing up any service agreements. The handset plays nicely with one of the carrier’s plans which start at $40 per month.
LG Optimus F6 for Metro PCS
The LG Optimus F6 for Metro PCS features a 4.5-inch display with 540 x 960 resolution and is powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The device offers 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory with about 1.3 GB available to user. Luckily, the phone has a microSD slot for storage expansion, which will allow you to add up to 32 GB of memory.
The handset’s main camera is equipped with a 5-megapixel sensor and such options as touch focus, HDR, panorama, Time Catch, voice trigger, face detection and more. There is also a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting.
The LG Optimus F6 runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The phone comes pre-loaded with LG’s Quick features such as QuickRemore, QuickMemo and QuickTranslator. The lights are kept on by a removable 2460 mAh battery, which according to the manufacturer, provides up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 340 hours of standby time.
Other features include NFC, DLNA media sharing, Wi-Fi Calling, customizable shortcut button, and physical home button that lights up in color patterns.
