The Nexus 5 has already leaked a number of times. The phone was even caught on camera back in September at Android KitKat unveiling event. However, many bits and pieces were still missing. We gladly report that today we can fill in some of the blanks for you thanks to a leaked user manual. The document contains 281 pages and reveals all the key specs that potential users may be interested in. The manual even contains a diagram of the phone that appears to match perfectly the back of the device spotted at the Googleplex event.
LG Nexus 5 D521 Android Smartphone
According to the manual, the Nexus 5 features a 4.95-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 resolution. It appears that LG used a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (MSM8947) along with 2 GB of RAM. The phone also comes with 32 GB of internal memory, however, there is no word on possible expandability.
The device will apparently offer dual cameras. The main shooter with an 8-megapixel sensor will pack Optical Image Stabilization. The front-facing camera with be a 1.3-megapixel snapper.
The Nexus 5 will have the usual array of sensors such as Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Proximity/Ambient Light, and Pressure. Other features will include NFC, microSIM slot, notification light and 2,300 mAh battery with wireless charging.
One page of the manual mentions Bluetooth 3.0, but we suspect that it might be a typo and in fact the phone comes with Bluetooth 4.0. Even though the manual looks legit, keep in mind that by no means it was confirmed by LG. The document does not contain anything out of this world to make us question its authenticity, but nevertheless, let’s take the news with a pinch of salt.
