The carrier has just released the LG Lucid 3 and offers the phone for free with a new two-year contract and free overnight shipping. Honestly, it doesn’t get any better than that. LG Lucid 3 for VerizonThe LG Lucid 3 for Verizon is also available with Verizon Edge service for $12.49 per month and an option of faster upgrade. The phone is for grabs online and should be arriving in Verizon retail stores in the next few days. Some locations may offer the device from day one.

The first model of the LG Lucid series wasn’t an extremely exciting device, but apparently customers liked it, since a year later the carrier gave it another try and launched the LG Lucid 2. Now Verizon and LG paired again to released the third-generation model with upgraded specs and an attractive price to boot.

LG didn’t waste time and money to equip the Lucid 3 with unnecessary features that customers would hardly ever use. Instead, the company focused on simplicity and functionality. The phone’s 4.7-inch qHD display is big enough for comfortable reading or watching video, yet with measurements of 131.5 x 66 x 9.9 mm it allows for one-handed usage thanks to narrow bezels. Under the hood, the Lucid 3 has a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 8 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 64 GB through microSD slot.

The phone is powered by a 2,440 mAh battery which offers excellent battery life. According to the manufacturer you can get up to 12.5 hours of talk time or up to 15 days of standby time. The device will ship with Android 4.2.2 KitKat out of the box, which is one of the biggest highlights of the handset. Other features include a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, various connectivity options including 4G LTE, and a wide selection of apps and services from Verizon, Google and LG, such as KnockON, Knock Code, QSlide, QuickMemo and more.
