Smartphone uses have their preferences as to what their device must have. Some want them slim, other focus mainly on battery life. If what matters to you most is the size of the screen, with the rest of the specs coming in the second place, LG has just announced a new phone, the LG G Pro Lite, that may appeal to you. Judging by the specs list, the LG G Pro Lite should be easy on the wallet.
5.5-inch LG G Pro Lite Phablet with Stylus
In addition to a huge screen, the LG G Pro Lite is a rather humble offering otherwise. The display measures 5.5 inches diagonally but offers only 960 x 540 resolution. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. The device offers 8 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD slot and comes with a stylus pen.
Worthy noticing is the handset’s battery which is a decent removable 3,140 mAh unit. The LG G Pro Lite is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera featuring a backside-illuminated sensor and also sports a 1.9-megapixel front-facing snapper.
The handset measures 150.2 x 76.9 x 9.4 mm and weighs in at 161 g, runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and will be available in single and dual-SIM option, both to be grabbed in black or white.
Based on the LG Optimus G Pro, the device is scheduled for launch some time later this month. The first market to see the handset will be Latin America. Later on, the phone also will be available in Asia, Russia, China, India and the Middle East.
