Verizon LG G vistaThe LG G Vista didn’t receive as much attention prior to its release as the flagship G3, but it did get mentioned a few times in the recent leaks. Earlier today, the phone was quietly launched by Verizon and is now available for order through carrier’s web store. If you prefer to pick up the device personally, it should arrive at brick and mortar stores shortly.

LG G Vista for Verizon – Need a large phone at a reasonable price?

G VistaThe LG G Vista for Verizon Wireless seems like a good alternative for users looking for a large phone at a reasonable price. In order to become an owner of the G Vista you won’t have to spend a significant portion of your hard earned money as the handset costs only $99.99 with a new two-year agreement. Off-contract price is also pretty affordable and is set at $399.99. Users who prefer monthly installments can grab the Vista for a mere $19.99 per month on Verizon Edge.

The LG G Vista is not the most high-end phone that was released recently but with its 5.7-inch qHD display it is one of the biggest that has ever left LG’s factory. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that large screen equals more comfortable reading, watching movies and playing games, though those 960 x 540 pixels of resolution feel a tad too low and might take some fun off the experience.

The phone is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and comes with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD slot. Camera setup includes an 8-megapixel rear sensor on a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. On the plus side, the Vista packs a massive 3,200 mAh battery which is rated for up to 15 hours of talk time or up to 21 days of standby time. As if to make up for modest hardware, LG equipped the device with all its trademark features including QuickMemo, QSlide, Knock Code, Dual Window and Mini View, all these on top of Android 4.4 KitKat.

To sum up, since the LG G Vista specs are decidedly on lower- to mid-range side, it definitely won’t be the best choice for users who want a powerhouse. However, the phone’s large screen and hefty battery are a perfect mix for hours of entertainment on the go. If that’s what you are looking for, then hit Verizon’s store.
