It looks like soon there will be two new additions to the feature phones portfolio on Verizon Wireless. This may be a good news for customers who are on a tight budget and don’t want to spend too much money on a cell phone or those who simply do not need a very advanced fancy smartphone. For example, a feature phone may be a good choice for an older person who would use it mainly for making calls or alternatively sending texts. Or it could be a nice gift for a child who just begins the adventure with mobile phones.
LG Cosmos 3 and Revere 2 for Verizon Wireless
The phones in question are the LG Cosmos 3 and LG Revere 2. Both were spotted on Verizon’s rebate form, which suggests that they may be available in the near future. None of the phones has been officially announced so far, and since there have been no leaks, we have no details on possible specs and features. Being basic phones, both are expected to be cheap, but at this point it is unknown how much exactly they will cost.
Both, the LG Cosmos 3 and LG Revere 2, are follow up devices and it is safe to assume that the handsets will be equipped similarly to their predecessors, with possible updates in some area. The LG Cosmos 2 is a side-slider with a 4-line QWERTY keyboard, 2-inch display and a microSD card slot compatible with up to 32 GB cards. The original LG Revere is a flip phone featuring a 2-inch display, 1.3 megapixel camera, organizer and web browser.
