Lenovo is about to launch the most impressive flagship yet filled to the brim with bleeding edge hardware
We haven’t heard of the Lenovo’s sequel of the K900 since the Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai in June. And just right now the executive at Lenovo teases us with new details concerning the K920 via posting them on the Weibo social networking site. The image leave no doubts Lenovo is a company with great ambitions and plans, and their next flagship is more than certain to make a grate entrance.

Although Lenovo isn’t the brand name highly associated with cutting edge Android smartphones, but the company seems to put a lot of effort to change it. Apparently, they may be successful since its previous device K900 make a lot of fuss while being launched last year. And to tell you the truth, the Lenovo K920 appears to have all the features that predispose it to be the next Lenovo’s killer flagship, maybe even more successful than its predecessor.
The recent leak presents the snaps of the upper back corner of the device, reveling the whole truth about the K920’s optics. So, going deeply in the topic, the discussed smartphone occurs to have a 16 megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization and dual LED flash unit. Additionally, the front-facing shooter is 5-megapixel one, so it will definitely meet the needs of all selfie fans.
The K920, or the Vibe Z2 Pro if you like, is literally jammed with bleeding edge specs. It is more than sure, that the smartphone will sport a massive, using 2K video recording technology, Quad- HD, 6-inch display with 2560×1440 resolution and brightness levels up to 630 nits. The K920 will be powered by an impressive 4,000 mAh battery, so even having the consuming massive amounts of energy 6-inch display, with such a good battery support there will be plenty of lasting long-hour fun. The device is likely to run Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
If all this isn’t still enough to impress you, it is worth notice that the Vibe Z2 Pro’s body is likely to be made from real metal, just as its forerunner. Despite the type of the used metal is still a mystery, the leak mentions something about “304”, which may refer to the type of stainless steel. In addition, the K920 is only 7.7 mm thick and its screen to body ratio reportedly rates at 83.5%.
There is still no word about the price tag, but the K920 is scheduled to have its official premiere on August 5. Originally the product will be released to its home country – China market, then it is expected to spread gradually to other Asian markets, but will the K920 fulfill the Lenovo’s dreams about global expansion of their smartphones, dreams that began along with purchasing Motorola from Google?
