The Huawei Ascend W1 was expected to hit the stores in late 2012, but according to the latest rumors it will be officially unveiled at CES in early January 2013. It will be Huawei’s first smartphone to come with Windows Phone 8. The leaked photos show a Nokia-ish blue device with a HTC-ish camera housing and overall handsome design.
The Huawei Ascend W1 will probably feature a 4-inch WVGA touch screen, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, and a VGA front-facing camera so you will be able to enjoy video chatting. The Ascend W1 is said to be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of built-in storage capacity and will have a rather powerful 2000 mAh battery and Near Field Comunication to complete the picture. The most probable carrier for this phone is T-Mobile.
