Leaked photo reveals that Metro PCS is about to launch Nokia Lumia 521 Windows 8 Phone

ByinLeaks & Rumors | July 22, 2013

MetroPCS Evleaks did what they are known best for doing they ‘leaked’ a trending photo. It was certainly a good leak at that, revealing that the ‘Nokia Lumia 521’ is on its way to Metro PCS. One major consideration is that T-Mobile recently purchased Metro PCS, sharing a common bond, grants reason to believe they will share the handset as well. This cell phone has a very interesting thread that ties Metro PCS, T-Mobile, and Nokia together.

Lumia 521 Windows 8 Phone for Metro PCS

Lumia 521 Metro PCST-Mobile’s Nokia Lumia 521 stems from the Nokia Lumia 520, as a successful T-Mobile version. The Nokia Lumia 520 accounts for about a fifth of all new app installations, also accounting for 80 percent of all Windows 8 smartphones selling widely in countries such as India, and Brazil. And, in just a month the Nokia Lumia 520 leaped from fifth place to the number one spot in its company. This is the excitement laid out in front of T-Mobile that supports why they have their own version of the phone.

As for T-Mobile’s success with their version, with the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 T-Mobile is delivering the cheapest Windows Phone 8 device available in the US. Priced at $149.99. When the phone went for $99.95 on HSN, it sold out at Wal-Mart and T-Mobile. All of these factors are key ingredients as to why Metro PCS will prosper in their version of the Nokia Lumia 521.

History provides awareness, exposure, and popularity. Things a cell phone carrier need for their products to climb the sale charts. In addition to everyone knowing about the trending versions, both Nokia and T-Mobile have proven that the phone does sell. Furthermore, Metro PCS has yet to premier a Microsoft powered smartphone, this one is looking like to be their first, and we know publicity, and customers always come with world premieres.

As the T-Mobile version is basically the same as the Nokia Lumia 520, expect Metro PCS’s version to be similar to T-Mobile’s and to have specifications such as these: 4 inch IPS display with 800 x pixels, a dual-core 1GHz processor, which is highly in demand on smart phones. A great amount of RAM at 512MB, a 5 megapixel rear camera, 8GB internal memory/Micro SD card up to 64GB, and a reliable 1,430 mAh battery. Thanks to Evleaks we are preparing for a very important release for Metro PCS, if it will be their first Windows 8 Phone, then they choose a winner.
