The Huawei Ascend P6 has leaked all over the web recently focusing mostly on the phone’s extremely slim profile, which is good. However, we did not manage to get anything solid from those leaks, even though some included photos. While these images were not the best quality, they still were good enough to give you at least a general idea about the phone. Today we have something way better, though. Thanks to courtesy of our precious @evleaks, we present you with the official press renders of the Huawei Ascend P6.
Huawei Ascend P6 to be introduced on June 16
The image shows the Ascend P6 front, back as well as side and what can we say? It looks amazing and in accordance with previously leaked photos. Unfortunately, the image was not accompanied by any details.
Earlier rumors mention a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The phone is also believed to pack a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and should ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. And let’s not forget that the handset is expected to be just 6.2-mm (0.24-inch) thin and may be the next world’s thinnest phone.
A pressing question is when the Huawei Ascend P6 will see the light of day. While there is no official word on that, Huawei has a press event scheduled for June 18. We have a feeling that this is when the Ascend P6 will get its introduction. Invitation to the event teases about beauty, glamor and inspiration. It also promises that it will be worth waiting for. We cannot help but feel anxious to see more of the “beauty”.
