All signs in the sky say that the lately launched budget-friendly Huawei Ascend Mate 2 smartphone will have its successor pretty soon. The Chinese website IT168 reports that the Ascend Mate 3 might be officially announced as soon as September. The phone that we have know so far appears under the codename of Ascend D3 making the leak quite creditable since the Chinese manufacturer plans the Mate-series to absorb the D-series entirely.
Huawei Ascend Mate 3 coming sooner to compete with the Galaxy Note 4
Lately, Huawei has been the topic of constant gossips connected with the Huawei C199 and Huawei Honor H60 being noticed on TENNA website (the Chinese equivalent of the US Federal Communications Commission), and now we get information that those two devices aren’t the only to be launched this summer, the another new-born is the Ascend Mate 3 that will be unveiled in September, which isn’t far away from now. The phone is said to challenge the, still uncertain in terms of its debut, Samsung Galaxy Note 4? Will they go head to head?
The rumor on the street says that the Huawei Ascend Mate 3 will supposedly house a 6-inch display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. Though the pixel parameters are really good, having such a massive screen at our disposal, some of us would certainly prefer it to have Quad HD resolution. If the leaked pics are true, the phone will be a really good-looking one since its bezels appears to be extremely thin.
Speaking of other specs, the Ascend Mate 3 will reportedly operate on the Android 4.4. Kitkat with support for LTE connectivity. The phone is rumored to have 2GB RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage. It might be also equipped with a Huawei-made, octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 920 processor, however it is only a speculation, since there is no official hint on this issue.
As it comes to optics, the handset will offer its prospective users 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, so all selfie fans should be delighted.
If all the discussed rumors turn out to be true, the handset will be released to the Chinese market in three versions this September. There is no word about its global premiere. But since, the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 has been already available on the US market, the Ascend Mate 3 is highly probable to follow this launching pattern.
