Last week we brought you news that the HTC Windows Phone 8X has been launched at AT&T network. Today two more carriers added the HTC’s Windows flagship smartphone to its offer, that is Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile.
If you would like to purchase the HTC 8X on Verizon network, it will cost you $199.99 with a new 2-year contract. For a phone without contract, you will have to pay $549.99. As of now, the only color available is Black. The Blue version is scheduled to arrive on November 19th, and the Red will be available 8 days later, on November 27th.
If you prefer T-Mobile service provider, the HTC 8X from T-Mobile will cost you exactly the same, that is $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a 2-year service agreement. However, if you have doubts about being stuck with one carrier for two years and prefer contract free phone, be prepared to lay out $50 more that Verizon wants – the phone without contract costs $599.99. You will not have much choice as far as color is concerned – the carrier offers only Blue model.
There is one more thing that some of you may find of great importance while choosing the model (and at the same time the carrier). The HTC Windows Phone 8X for Verizon is compatible with the ultra fast 4G LTE network, while T-Mobile offers only 4G HSPA+ connection.
Apart from above differences, both versions for particular carriers are identical, so whether you choose AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile, you will get exactly the same set of specs and features running the latest Windows 8 software.
