Some time ago we wrote about a promotion on the HTC One X 4G LTE on AT&T. The carrier was offering refurbished phone for just $19.99 on two year contract, which was 80% off the original price. The deal is the past now because the brand new HTC One X is available on Amazon with the same price tag $19.99. You can save $80 if you decide to buy the phone from Amazon instead of AT&T store, where the price tag still shows $99.99.
You probably wonder why there is such drop on HTC One X. Well, Amazon had a good reason to do so. Two days ago, a new HTC One X+ with 4.7-inch display and quad-core 4.7 GHz Tegra 3 processor had its debut in Europe and is now available for pre-orders, which naturally affects the current price on its predecessor, the HTC One X. Soon the One X+ will be available in the US as well and will be offered exclusively by AT&T.

What changes did HTC make while manufacturing the new One X+? At first glance, both phone look exactly the same, with a thin chassis constructed from premium polycarbonate with gently curved edges and a pleasant soft-touch finish together with three capacitive buttons that sit below the screen to control essential Android operations (Back, Home, and recent apps). Also the 4.7-inch HD multi-touch display with a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution is the same as you have seen in the HTC One X.
To discover all the goodies offered by the HTC One X+ you will have to look inside. The smartphone packs a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor clocked At 1.7 GHz, which is much more powerful that the HTC One X’s 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon.
Another major plus is the storage capacity, which was expanded four times, from 16 GB on the HTC One X to impressive 64 GB on the HTC One X+. That is plenty of space for your music, photos, videos, games and apps, but in case you need even more, HTC offers you 25 GB on Dropbox for 2 years for free.
And last but not least, the HTC One X+ runs the latest version of the most popular operating system – Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with HTC’s Sense 4+ user interface, for even smoother performance. To keep up with the improved specs, the HTC One X+ is equipped with a 2100 mAh battery, which is 300 mAh more than the HTC One X offers.
The HTC One X+ also features an 8 megapixel rear camera / camcorder, which offers basically the same shooting and editing option its predecessor; the front camera has been bumped up though from 1.3 megapxel to 1.6 megapixel. There is also a music player Beats Audio integration providing deeper bass, crisper vocals and crystal clear high notes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, NFC, 3G (quad-band), A-GPS with Google Maps, access to other Google Mobile Services including Google Play Store, as well as access to social networks including Facebook, Twitter and more.
