Gigantic smartphones are taking the market by storm, but recently we have been observing quite the opposite trend. More and more manufacturers are actually releasing miniaturized versions of their flagship devices. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to go on sale as soon as July. HTC has also decided to join in the fun with its One Mini, also referred to as the HTC M4. The device should get its official introduction soon and is expected to hit the stores by August.
HTC One Mini – What to expect…
The HTC One Mini has been the subject of discussion for some time, but many details still remained unknown. Thanks to its file on UA Profile page some of the blanks were filled so we can have a pretty good idea of what to expect. On a side note, such files are usually made by the manufacturer itself so the news is almost as good as an official announcement.
The HTC One Mini will come with a 4.3-inch touch screen display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and will be powered by a dual-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The phone will offer 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a 1700 mAh non-removable battery.
Just like its big brother, the HTC One Mini will be equipped with an UltraPixel camera and will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC’s Sense UI on top. The phone will also offer Beats Audio sound enhancement and HTC’s BoomSound stereo speakers on the front.
