The HTC One Max has showed its big face again. There is no room for doubt now. The device indeed exists and soon will join the original HTC One and its smaller brother, the HTC One Mini. How soon? The most recent rumors suggest next week, with October 16th or 17th being mentioned as possible release date. The “when” obviously has not been confirmed, but we almost certainly know the “who.” The freshly leaked photos picture the HTC One Max with Verizon branding below the screen.
HTC One Max apparently coming to Verizon…
The images, allegedly taken by a Verizon employee, were posted on Android Central forum. The source also seems to confirm that the phone has a removable back cover and features a fingerprint sensor, just like the iPhone 5S.
Other than that, the photos do not reveal much, expect that the device is huge and packs BoomSound dual stereo front facing speakers. These details perfectly match what we know about the One Max from previous leaks making the news sound even more legit.
The HTC One Max is a phablet device and will most likely sport a 5.9-inch display with full HD 1080p resolution. The phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM.
The handset is said to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and will probably come with a 3,300 mAh battery. Like other members of the One lineup, the Max will be equipped with an UltraPixel camera.
