HTC seems to follow the previous year launching pattern with their products. Last year their line-up consisted of three devices the HTC (M7) One, One Mini and the One Max. And this year all signs in the sky suggest that we will be able to put our hands on the very similar trio, since some details on the One Max successor have recently leaked out. The mentioned device is commonly known as the HTC One Max M8 aka HTC One M8 Prime.
HTC One Max M8 – What to expect.
The HTC One M8 and M8 Mini are reportedly having a new member in their family, the long-rumored One Max M8, which thanks to its massive 5.9-inch screen can be located in the phablet sector. Aside the massive display, the handset looks much alike its older brother the One M8, and this is why some call it M8 Premium. Additionally, the device allegedly won’t have the fingerprint sensor set on the back side of the as the previous One Max had. Which, frankly speaking, isn’t a big disappointment since the solution wasn’t a great one.
Going further, the most important improvement in the new One Max concerns its heart. The handset is reportedly said to be powered by the Snapdragon 805 processor, which is a big step ahead in comparison to the M8 One which is equipped with the Snapdragon 801 chipset, and even greater improvement when it comes to its predecessor in the Max series. Just to give you a hint, the previous HTC’s One Max came with the 1.7 GHz Quad Core Krait 300 based on the Snapdragon 600 chipset.
Although the device on the pics looks very final, there are still no word about its release date, price tag and even more specified spec details. On the other hand, the device that leaps at as from the photos, may be simply nothing more but a teaser launched by the company in order to check whether there will be any interest in such a handset. So, to know more about the discussed M8 Premium we will have to wait a little. Time will show whether the speculations will turn out to be at least half true.
