HTC One M9 concept design surfaces online that might not be too different from a real HTC-made phone
After exciting week of IFA 2014 full of earth-shattering events and highly anticipated premieres, and after a great unveiling of Apple’s brand new iPhone 6, we are now experiencing some kind of a mobile industry stagnation. Obviously, there are fantastic smartphones waiting in a line for being released like for example new HTC-made Nexus 9, but the following months won’t surprise us with anything that will attract our attention with the magnetic power.

That will change soon along with upcoming CES/MWC in early 2015 and the launch of Galaxy S6. All these means that we will be soon lavished with numerous leaks and rumors concerning the devices debuting next year. But before that, we may entertain ourselves with checking out some design renders like the one concerning HTC One M9 which might in fact not be too different from a real HTC-made smartphone.
Although HTC One M8 is only six months old, it makes it a little old device as for fast-developing mobile industry, which may explain rumors on HTC working on its successor allegedly called One M9. Of course, the manufacturer hasn’t made any official announcement on the M9 launch date, but there are some leaks suggesting that it will happen in the first quarter of 2015. So, while waiting for the official M9’s premiere let’s take a close-up at its concept design that recently surfaced online.
The discussed concept proposes super slim 7 mm thick body crafted of aluminum and titanium with the phone’s screen protected by extra durable Sapphire Glass, which gives the handset a superior look. In addition, the thin body somehow manages to house a pretty massive 3,500 mAh battery, which in reality may turn out to be hard to achieve.
Going deeper, the made-up handset appears to be a high-end offer that features a lot of improvements over HTC’s current flagship HTC One M8. So, its Quad HD display, aside of being covered with artificial sapphire, sports high resolution of 1440x2560p. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB RAM and built-in storage that rates from 32GB to even 128GB. Furthermore, the handset will provide high-quality music experience thanks to BoomSound+ speakers.
As it comes to optics the imaginary One M9 is equipped with a selfie-friendly 5.1 MP front-facing camera and 12 MP shooter with Optical Image Stabilization that looks like come back to the HTC’s Duo Camera.
But remember no matter how mouth-watering the HTC One M9 looks on the design concept, it isn’t the confirmed version of the device. So don’t get too disappointed when in turns out that the HTC-made smartphone will be far from the ideal presented on the fan-made renders.
