Google Nexus LogoDue to the fact that Google’s Nexus 10 made by Samsung wasn’t able to win with Apple’s iPads, Google this time has joined its forces with HTC to bring new tablet to the market. The positive aspect of new collaboration is that both companies have at their disposal new technologies to produce more advanced and fashionable devices, as fashion has become a major selling point today. A new effort of the two companies should be visible soon as the new HTC Nexus 9 is rumored to be officially announced on October 16th.

HTC Nexus 9 release date revised to October 16th

HTC Nexus 9 Mr. Paul O’Brien the founder of the tech site MoDoCa said that on October 16th the Nexus 9 probably will be released to the public. It seems that his anonymous tipster is a genuine one. Mr. O’Brien admits that he had got correct information from the same source once before. So now we just have to wait and watch if the tip was true or not, as last week rumor regarding the next Nexus release was saying that the slate will be launched on October 9th.

The HTC Nexus 9 tablet seems to be considered as the next-gen device in Nexus family and most probably Google may host a big event for the official announcement. It would be something new as normally Google do not hold extravagant events for it’s new devices.

As we are yet to see the truth, a lot of assumptions and predictions are being made about the Nexus 9 in the last few months. People are eagerly expecting the release of Android L along with the new Nexus tablet. What we’ve witnessed in previous Google launches the company is known to put a big software updates in its newly released Nexus phones and tablets. Based on that there is huge possibility the HTC Nexus 9 tablet could could hit the market powered by Android L operating system.

The Nexus 9 is also expected to arrive with 9-inch high resolution screen, 8 megapixel main camera and a 2GB of RAM under the hood. The strong point of the tablet is Nvidia Tegra K1 system chip which will power the device.

All these rumors and speculations are only making us more excited and eagerly looking forward for October 16th. If invitations are sent out by early October, we can safely assume that rumors are true. So let’s watch out if any such invitations will be doing it’s round.
