HTC Desire 626 affordable LTE phone

HTC Desire 626Featuring a 5-inch display with 1280x720p resolution the new HTC Desire 626 goes on sale powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chipset. Clocked at 1.2GHz the quad-core Cortex-A53 processor is combined with 1GB RAM and 16GB of built-in expandable storage.

On the optics side, the phone future users will be provided with a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor capable to record full HD 1080p video supported by a 5-megapixel front-facing unit surprisingly also recording high-quality 1080p videos.

Lights are kept on by a 2,000 mAh battery which is reported to deliver energy enough to power a whole day of moderate usage. If you like to learn some figures, the mentioned non-removable battery delivers us up to 30 hours of 3G talk time and 760 hours on stand-by mode. However, frankly speaking, seeing other phones in this specs and price sector we can feel a bit disappointed that the Desire 626 isn’t offering us something bigger, like for example a 2,300 mAh or higher unit.

When it comes to connectivity options, the phone comes with support for Bluetooth 4.0, single-band Wi-Fi and LTE bands 1,3,5,7,8 and 28. Other than that, the Desire 626 is also compatible with HTC DotView cases.

Dress in dark blue and white, the new HTC’s offering is already accessible for purchase in Taiwan labeled with the price tag being an equivalent of something round $190. At this point the Desire 626 is an exclusively Taiwanese product, but the manufacturer is rumored to prepare the phone to hit the market worldwide. Concluding, the overall design and tech parameters combined with such an affordable price will surely bring the Desire 626 numbers of staunch fans.
