Though HTC Desire 620 debuted in late November, it was only an exclusive Taiwan release. Just right now HTC has announced the smartphone to hit European market during the first quarter of 2015. The handset is said to be the Desire 610’s successor that will carry all those features the Desire line is known of, which means that it will be a budget-friendly smartphone offering a fusion of quality performance with good-looking design.
The Desire 620 to be the HTC-made Moto G rival
Already hailed to be the HTC-made Moto G rival that provides its future users with a decent Android experience at an affordable price, the Desire 620 sports a 5-inch Super LCD screen featuring 720p resolution and Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of native storage than can be easily expanded via microSD cards.
In the field of optics, we will get an 8-megapixel main camera equipped with LED flash that is accompanied by a 5-megapixel front-facing unit, both capable of recording 1080p video. Additionally, there will be also BoomSound speakers on the handset’s board, which guarantee great audio experience. All these will be powered by a removable 2,100 mAh battery.
Moving on, the phone runs Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC-own Sense 6 UI installed on the top of it. As it comes to connectivity options, the Desire 620 goes on sale with full package of connectivity support, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC. Furthermore, the phone features dual SIM, so it will be a great option for all these wanting to have a business and private phone combined in one device.
As we may see at least in terms of specs the handset strongly resembles the famous mid-ranger Moto G which is said to compete with. Other than that, the Desire 620 will be available in four color schemes: white with grey accent, white with blue accent, grey with a light grey accent and grey with orange accent.
When it comes to pricing and availability details, nothing more than the fact that it will be released sometime at the beginning of 2015 is known. Since the HTC Desire 620 wants to compete with the Moto G, we may assume that its price will rate at the similar level, which means it should cost something around $200. Time will show if our estimations are accurate.
