HP Slate 7 price cut to $139 for 8GB model and $169 for 16GB version

HP 7If you are looking for an affordable Android tablet, you may want to consider HP’s latest deal. The company has dropped the price of its Slate 7 tablets by $30. The 8 GB model is now priced as a mere $139.99, while the 16 GB version is selling for $169.99. Regular prices of both tablets were set at $169.99 and $199.99 respectively. The devices are available for purchase on HP website as well as at Best Buy. The latest discount has just probably made the Slate 7 the most budget-friendly tablet on the market.

The HP slate 7 is a decent offering, especially considering its super affordable price. The tablet features a 7-inch display with a wide viewing angle and 1024 x 600 resolution. The resolution may leave a little more to be desired, but as you know low price has its price. The device is powered by a 1.6 GHz ARM A9 dual-core processor and offers 1 GB of RAM. Both, the 8 GB and 16 GB models come with microSD slots compatible with up to 32 GB cards for memory expansion.

The HP Slate 7 is equipped with a VGA front-facing camera for video chatting with friends and family. There is also a 3-megapixel rear camera for snapping photos and capturing important moment on video. The device also offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR The tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes pre-loaded with a handful of Google apps.
