T-Mobile has shared a news about a new switcher promo

Earlier today T-Mobile has shared a news about a new switcher promo. Being a part of the carrier’s ‘summer celebration’ sale, the new deal targets at Verizon subscribers. In order to encourage Big Red’s customers to port to its network, the Un-carrier promises to pay the remaining balance on their iPhone or Pixel smartphone. The biggest advantage of the promo is that you can keep the phone and use it on T-Mobile network.

T-Mobile will pay for your iPhone or Pixel phone if you terminate Verizon service.

T-Mobile will pay for your Pixel or iPhone if you quit Verizon service
T-Mobile’s newest switcher promo covers several flagship devices. The carrier will pay off the remaining balance on your iPhone SE, 6S, 6S Plus, 7, 7Plus, Google Pixel and Pixel XL, providing that you’re a Verizon’s subscriber willing to leave your existing carrier and port to T-Mobile.

If you’re a lucky owner of one of these phones, the Magenta carrier will pay what you owe, no matter if it’s a single buck or $1000. In addition, the device is yours. You can keep it and what’s more use it on T-Mobile’s network after switching. In case you don’t have one of these phones, the carrier will still pay everything you owe and resign from trade-in. However, you will still need to get a new phone. After switching, just as all new subscribers, you will have to enroll to T-Mobile ONE plan which allows you to add two additional lines to the plan at the price of one.

Naturally, as usual here also are several catches you need to be aware of. First of all, you will be asked to put your phones on T-Mobile’s Premium Device Protection Plus. The service will cost you $15 per month per each line. Another thing is that you need to be conscious that the ONE plan isn’t truly unlimited. The carrier reserves the right to reduce your speeds after you reach the limit of 32GB of data per month. In comparison, Verizon slows down your speeds after reaching the monthly limit of 22GB.

Several terms of services apply also to AT&T and Sprint subscribers. However, if you happen to be a customer of one of these two networks you can’t keep your existing phone. Other points remain unchanged.

The promo starts tomorrow and last until May 31.
