There is no other phone that offers more personal experience than the Moto X phone. Thanks to the unique Moto Maker website you can have your device exactly the way you like it, from the color of the body, through the wallpaper, down to your very own text engraved on the back panel. Earlier this week AT&T lost exclusivity on the customization feature allowing customers across all major carriers to enjoy designing their phones. If you are on Verizon Wireless, there is more good news.
Verizon Moto X Five Day Sale
Through November 18th, the Big Red version of the Moto X is ready to be purchased for just $49.99 with a new two-year contract leaving you with $50 in savings compared to the original price.
This rather generous price cut follows a report claiming that the Moto X has not been selling as good as Motorola had hoped. The truth is, though, that up until this Monday the fully customizable model was available only from AT&T, which greatly limited the number of potential buyers. Nevertheless, Motorola clearly felt that customers needed more incentive.
The Moto X handset is the first smartphone made entirely in the US. The customization feature is what makes the phone unique, however there is more to the Moto X than just picking the color of the buttons. The 4.7-inch AMOLED display is covered in scratch-resistant glass and offers 720 x 1280 resolution at 316 ppi.
Powering the Moto X is Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System paired with 2 GB of RAM. Other features include 16 GB of internal memory, 10-megapixel CLEAR PIXEL camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity and 2,200 mAh battery.
