If you liked Samsung’s La Fleur collection of phones, you will be pleased to know that another manufacturer has released a similar version of its smartphones. This time round it is LG who decided to launch a girly version of its entry-level Optimus L5 II Dual with a floral design. The phone is up for grabs in Russia and costs 8,490 RUB, which is $256, or €193 according to the current exchange rate. Although it has not been confirmed yet, the handset will probably be also available in other European markets.
LG Optimus L5 II Dual with Floral Design
The LG Optimus L5 II Dual features a subtle floral design on the back as well as the front. Other than that the phone is identical to the original Optimus L5 II Dual. The handset packs a 4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels at 233 ppi. The device is powered by a single-core 1 GHz MediaTek MTK 6575 processor and has 512 MB of RAM. The phone also offers 4 GB of internal memory expandable with microSD slot for storage expansion up to 32 GB.
The special edition Optimus L5 II Dual is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. There is also a VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity features include HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot capability, and microUSB port. Power is provided by a 1,700 mAh battery which should be able to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 642 hours of standby time. The handset runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and supports two SIM cards.
