Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids edition is now for sale in the US via third-party retail stores

The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is now available for pre-order for $229.99 and will start shipping on November 10th.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 KidIn terms of hardware, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is identical to the regular Galaxy Tab 3. It means that you, or rather your kid, will be getting a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory with microSD slot for expansion.

The tablet is equipped with a 3-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. In addition to standard option, the camera app allows for creative fun with stickers and costumes that can be added to the photo.

Since the device is designed with kids in mind, it offers kids-oriented features. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. The tablet comes pre-loaded with kid-friendly games, for example Toca Train, Wipeout, Fruit Ninja and Where’s My Perry? as well as educational apps, such as I Learn With Ocean, Dolphin Reader, Inventions 2 and Kids Planet Discovery and more.

Of course, the device features extensive parental control allowing you to limit access to certain content, set specific usage time, etc. The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is bundled with a bright orange protective bumper case to ensure that the tablet will survive not so gentle treatment.
