Remember when few days ago we reported on HTC adding Camellia Red and Topaz Gold to the HTC 10’s US lineup? Hot on the heels, Samsung decided to enliven the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge US line just as well by offering a sophisticated pink gold model of its recent flagship. So far the Pink Gold version of the Galaxy S7 was known only on the international market, today it finally hits the States having Best Buy retail stores for its exclusive distributor.
Following HTC, Samsung released its recent flagship in a new color option. Pink Gold Galaxy S7 is now within your reach at Best Buy with a free gift card worth $150.
Originally, the Pink Gold color option of the Galaxy S7 was available only in South Korea, but starting August 28th it will be within the reach of all US customers via Best Buy. Sold unlocked, the new color variant will be compatible with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon and come exactly with the same specs as other models.
As for pricing, although Best Buy haven’t shared any details here yet, we may safely assume that it should remain the same or at least similar to the pricing other unlocked color. This means that the Galaxy S7 may cost something round $699, whereas its Edge sibling will be sold for $799. Interestingly enough, both variants will be offered with a free $150 Best Buy gift card.
The retailer will also sell the carrier version of the phone as well, for instance the Pink Gold Galaxy S7 for AT&T and Sprint are listed on the retailer’s website as already available for purchase. In addition, all those interested in getting the Galaxy S7 Edge will surely be glad to know that Best Buy throws in a free Gear Fit2 to each purchase of the phablet.
Wondering why Samsung decided to expand the Galaxy S7 lineup by pink color option? Because as they stated earlier this year, at the occasion of introducing the variant to the international market, pink is a natural color that provides us with a sense of comfort, while its illuminated glass surface brings a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication to the smartphones’ design.
