LG Optimus F3 FrontIt’s not a secret that using smartphones is not exactly cheap even if you manage to buy a device at a discounted price and get some kind of a deal from your carrier. This applies to the largest US networks, however, smaller ones apparently operate in a different way. FreedomPop proves that you can get a decent phone and a full month of service under $30. The California-based mobile service provider is now selling a certified pre-owned LG Optimus F3 for just $29 bundled with one-month free unlimited plan.

LG Optimus F3 under $30 with one-month free unlimited plan

LG Optimus F3One reason why the phone is so affordable is that it’s pre-owned but don’t let this detail discourage you. The device is certified which means that it’s fully functional and in good condition so it should serve you well for a long time. Besides, the LG Optimus F3 is a pretty decent offering for kids, older users or as a backup device.

Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor , the phone sports a 4-inch 800×480 IPS display and a 5-megapixel rear camera. Other key features include 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in memory expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD, VGA front-facing camera and a 2,460 mAh battery.

FreedomPop is offering the phone with its Unlimited Everything plan and the best part is that you get one month for free. It means that for one month you can enjoy unlimited calling, texting and data. After that you have two options – you can either downgrade to FreedomPop’s 100% free monthly plan which comes with 200 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of data per month, or choose any of the carrier’s other affordable plans.

Where’s the catch? It looks like there isn’t any. All you have to do to take advantage of the deal is to visit FreedomPop website, enter a few details such as email and zip code and that’s it. You don’t even have to pay for shipping, just patiently wait for the phone and SIM card. FreedomPop doesn’t say how long the deal will last, but we have a feeling that it’s not permanent so you may want to hit the order button rather sooner than later.
