Four new Samsung tablets, that is the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, and the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, are on their way. The slates have been rumored since July, with the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 being the center of focus mostly due to its size. According to the latest reports, all tablets will hit the market in the first quarter of 2014, though exact release date has not been confirmed yet by manufacturer.
New Samsung tablets for 2014
The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 might be launched between February 3 and 9. The tablet will be an interesting offering aimed at a more demanding group of users. The slate will feature a 12.2-inch display with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal memory, a 9,500 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. The slate will be available in Wi-Fi-only and LTE capable versions.
Both, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 are a tad more mysterious devices. All we know at the moment is that both will pack 16 GB of storage, Wi-Fi-only or LTE connectivity and will be offered in black and white color options. The 8.4-inch Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 should be released around the same time as the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Its 10.1-inch brother is expected to arrive a week later, that is between February 10 and 16.
The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will arrive in the second week of 2014 wearing a price tag of $136, or €100. The Lite version of Samsung’s popular tablet will sport a 7-inch 1,024 x 600 display and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor based on the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture. The OS of choice will be Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
