While the Sony Xperia Z2 is conquering the shelves of retailers around the world, the recently leaked photos allegedly presenting the Sony Xperia Z3 along with its compact version are spreading around the Internet. If the pics are real, we may assume that the Sony is continuing their traditional design. The Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact are blocky, very austere in its design, but stylish. Let’s take a closer look to see what we can expect from the next Sony’s flagship and its ‘mini’ version.
Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact – What to expect
The upcoming Sony Xperia Z3 with its little brother the Xperia Z3 Compact look very similar to the previous model of the Xperia series. Like it or lump it, Sony don’t resign from their OmniBalance look, with an additional metal frame and a very convenient, dedicated camera button. So, if you are the Z2’s design fan, you will definitely like the brand new Z3’s look and feel.
As it comes to the camera, there will be no revelations, the producer is likely to cling to the 20MP shooter. The colors of the handset will also be very classic: white and graphite black. We still don’t have any exact details on its size, but it is clearly visible that the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is a smaller twin brother of the Sony Xperia Z3. We may presume it will be really mini in the terms of size and weight, since Sony have promised to keep it really compact. But will they keep their word?
Rumors say the Xperia Z3 will be equipped with 3 GB RAM paired with Snapdragon 801 processor, the system offered by the previous model of Xperia – Z2, which could be a little disappointing. The word on the street has it that Sony is careful with the 64-bit version (Snapdragon 810), postponing its use to the future Xperia Z4. But why haven’t they decided to use Snapdragon 805 this time? Isn’t the use of 801 version a step back in the history of Sony’s flagship phones?
The official premiere of the Sony Xperia Z3 is expected to take place in September at IFA in Berlin, Germany. Unfortunately, these are only speculations whetting our appetite for the Z3. But, to get further, more convincing details, we will have to wait. So, the only thing that we can do is to arm ourselves with patience and search throughout the net for new leaks and rumors.
