Boost Mobile has been one of the few US carriers that did not have any Apple iPhones in the offer. This may change soon, though. It has been rumored since April that Boost Mobile will be adding an iPhone to its roster some time in the third quarter of this year. The third quarter has come and gone and there is still no sign of any iPhone on Boost Mobile, but let’s not lose hope. It appears that the rumor was true after all.
Apple iPhones for Boost Mobile
According to a Tweet from @evleaks, Apple’s latest offerings, the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, are on their way to Boost Mobile. The Tweet includes two adds, one for each phone. Apparently, both iPhones will work with the carrier’s unlimited plans which start at $50 per month for unlimited talk, text and data. The plans include shrinking payment option, which allows you to reduce your bill by $5 after every 6 on-time payments finally reaching $35 per month.
The Tweet does not reveal exact launch date for both iPhones, but we believe it will happen in the not so distant future. Pricing also remains unknown at the moment. Boost Mobile is owned by Sprint just like Virgin Mobile. The latter has just started offering the iPhone 5S and 5C at $549.99 and $449.99 for the 16 GB models. Boost Mobile is expected to set the price of the phones somewhere between Virgin Mobile and Apple‘s full retail pricing.
