And we have another record breaker coming from BLU, the independent smartphone maker. The company has just unveiled its latest phone, the BLU Life Pro, which managed to outshine its rivals in at least one aspect. Namely, measuring just 0.27-inch (6.9 mm) in thickness, the Life Pro is the slimmest 5-inch device with HD display. The handset is priced at a rather affordable $299 and will be available soon through online retailers such as Amazon, unlocked and without contract obviously.
5-inch BLU Life Pro Android Phone
The BLU Life Pro appears to be an interesting alternative to other Android-powered smartphones, offering decent specs at reasonable price. As mentioned before, the phone features a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 resolution, OGS and Full Lamination Scratch Resistant Touch Panel.
Thanks to BLU’s propriety View Display Technology, the device guarantees great viewing angles. A quad-core 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6589T Cortex-A7 is responsible for performance, while PowerVR SGX544 takes care of graphics. The phone comes with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. There is no mention of microSD expansion, though.
The BLU Life Pro is equipped with two cameras. The main 12-megapixel shooter offers BSI sensor, autofocus, 1080p video capture and LED Flash with BLU Bright+ Technology. On the front panel resides a 5-megapixel camera. The phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports HSPA+ connectivity.
Other features include 2500 mAh battery, Wi-Fi b/g/n with Mobile Hotspot capability, GPS navigation, Bluetooth v4.0, micro-USB, FM Radio and more.
