The BlackBerry Z10 leaked so many times in photo and video that it holds very few secrets. And now, thanks to @evleaks, we even have what seems to be the official press image. The picture does not show anything new but, if it is real, it confirms the phone’s rather modest design without any outstanding features but the BlackBerry favor is still present. Of course, there is no physical keyboard, since the Blackberry Z10 is RIM’s all-touch device.
Blackberry Z10 launch date.
The only thing that remains a mystery is the launch date. Previous rumors suggested that the first BlackBerry 10 phone would be launched on February 28th. Since the device was never referred to by name, it could be either the Z10 or a completely different handset. Another rumor came from CrackBerry, who claims that black and white Blackberry Z10 handsets will be available on Bell and Telus on February 5th. Those are Canadian carriers, of course, and this move is understandable since Canada is RIM’s home market.
February 5th sounds good enough, but we may have even better news for BlackBerry fans. SlashGear hints that the Z10 might be unveiled together with RIM’s new operating system BlackBerry 10, which is scheduled to happen on January 30th in New York. If the leaks and rumors turn out to be true, then the Z10 may be heading to the US soon, possibly by the end of the next month. Anyone as excited?
