Famous for monitors and accessories BenQ isn’t surely one of the first companies that pops up in your mind when thinking about a smartphone. However, everything suggest that the Taiwanese manufacturer has ambitions to change this pretty soon by announcing their new flagship smartphone for 2015. Called BenQ F52, the new BenQ handset powered by the new Snapdragon 810 chip and 3GB RAM on the board is scheduled to debut during the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The new BenQ F52 smartphone is reported to come powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 Soc complete with an octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM, which all together stands for the phone’s best selling point.
Moving on, the F52 offers a pretty large 5.2-inch display with 1080p of resolution that translates to 424 ppi of pixel density. Perhaps, the handset’s display doesn’t belong to monster QHD class, though looking at its parameters we may notice that it represents a more than decent level.
In addition, the F52 will deliver its future users high quality optic hardware represented by a powerful 13MP main camera with Sony IMX214 sensor that is accompanied by an 8MP front-facing, definitely selfie-friendly shooter.
This is pretty much everything we got, at this point, about the BenQ’s flagship smartphone. However, even having the incomplete list of the F52’s tech parameters, we can clearly state that it overlaps its predecessor significantly, being something more than just another mid-ranger in town.
When it comes to software, this LTE-capable device is likely to run the heavily customized version of the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with a package of pre-installed apps from BenQ Chinese app developer partner that is Cheetah Mobile. Mentioned apps include well-known Clean Master, CM Security and Battery Doctor.
Previously, all BenQ smartphones were limited offerings available exclusively at Asian market, which makes us thinking that the F52 will share the fate of its predecessors. On the other side, perhaps the manufacturer plans to make this greatly specced smartphone available to wider audience and launch it globally? We can expect to learn answers soon, since the company announced that will officially unveil the device during the MWC in Barcelona along with their two new mid-rangers, the B50 and B502.
